Portuguese cat complete with missile launcher

Yesterday, Jini received a phonecall from the consultant at Coimbra hospital. Jini will attend on Friday 30th for a further consultation and a 'simulation' exercise. Following this there will be a course of 30 days of radiotherapy at Coimbra, starting Wednesday 5th July. Jini will be resident at a local hospice during the therapy, returning here to Castelo Branco at the weekends.

As you´ll be aware the surgery on the kidney went well and the tumour on the Thymus gland was removed. However, the tumour on the Thymus has been classified as 'agressive' and there is a real danger of this re-asserting itself if it were not to be treated immediately. This is a real concern at this time.

Regretably, Rohini and I have to return home on Thursday 29th. However, I´ll endeavour to keep you posted when I have any further news.
