Greetings from Portugal
Hello and welcome to Portugal. Weather is quite dreadful so the planned walking has been cancelled. I have managed to get around and about in the car and have been able to visit a few places. Visited Monsanto with James and Brian, climbed to the castle above the town and took in some fairly restricted views across the countryside to Spain.

On the way up to the castle came across this bar that looks something like a scene from the Flintstones. Having felt that luck has been running against me so far on this holiday I decided to not to got into this bar - looks a little precarious to me!. I'll save myself for the Irish bar later in the week.
Jeeny is now back at the School working - not full-time, but nevertheless feeling much more positive about the future. We managed a meal at the local Indian restaurant and a trip or two around the local region. Of course, the cats still keep us entertained and Angel is up to his old tricks again...

Thanks for looking in...
