Brian Willis Reports from Coimbra University Hospital

We now have some images from our reporter on the scene, Brian Willis. You'll recall that Brian, Jini and Rohini drove to the hospital on Monday morning, April 17th. Jini's surgery has been rescheduled for Thursday morning, first thing. However, read
'Shepherd's Delight' below.

Of course, the photograph, the one above that is :-)), shows Jini looking very well on her first day at Coimbra University Hospital. She appears alongside Doctor
Gonçalo, male nurse Nelson and Rohini.

I promised you 'Shepherd's Delight' and I know you are asking what a sheep has to do with Jini and Coimbra University Hospital?
Well, read on. Whilst running this evening I came across
my farmer friend, on cruches, would you believe? Underneath a leg brace his left leg was heavily bandaged. An accident with some farm machinery, I assumed. A sheep had 'charged' him from the side and shattered his left knee. I couldn't believe it. The result was 12 days in two local hospitals and two metal plates in his knee. His surgery was postponed a total of three times, so much for UK health care! Like Jini, he reckons that 'fasting' on three seperate occasions isn't much fun, particularly when those around you are eating breakfast! Hope Jini doesn't read this until she returns home. There, I told you that there was a connection.
