Happy New Year
...to all our friends in the UK, Portugal and 'globally'. Thanks for looking into the blog and for your support during 2007.
Special thanks to friends in Portugal, Brian and Lorinda, Terresa, Luiz, Louisa and Francisco for their hospitality over the Christmas and New Year period. I'd also like to show my special appreciation to staff at the School, namely James and Nela who have dedicated themselves to assisting Jini and to providing both personal and administrative support during this difficult time.
Brancoblogger has just returned from Portugal. As readers will know, Jini has recently had a further routine scan in November at the local hospital and a follow-up visit with her Oncologist. Although she has been told that there has been no significant deterioration in her health she does have those good and bad days when she appears to suffer fatigue linked to breathing difficulties. She is intending to work a little every week and continues to look after her beloved cats Angel, Nikita and Xena.
Brancoblogger expects to be returning to Portugal in the very near future.
