An Evening with the Dentist
Hello again. Visited Jini in the hospital this evening from 5 to 9. Didn't intend to stay for that long but got talking - you know how it is. Her dentist friend popped in around 8 so managed to get a lift home via his flat. His name is Luiz and you've met him before in the earlier photos. Managed a beer and some Brazilian music. Luiz has been over in Portugal for some 16 years and is from Brazil.
I must say that he has quite an imprssive Bar in the flat. Unfornunately he was 'fasting' and refraining from alcohol up to Easter. I wasn't. Here he is again with his arms around another woman who happened to enter the ward.
Rohini, my better half, phoned this evening to say that she is feeling better. She has tonsillitis and the concern has been that she'll not be able to take over from me as from next Saturday when I return to the UK.
Jini expects to be leaving hospital next Tuesday, so I can tell you that she is rather happy about that.
Jini's next door neighbour and friend Teressa(right) also popped in to see her. She works in the operating theatre at the hospital and prepared Jini for her operation - it's a small world her in Catelo Branco. She also has developed tonsillitis today - must be catching!
OK, just time for a few more photos of the cats. Here is Xena(left) - she's quite shy so I did well to get this shot of her. Tomorrow is another big day of socialising and visiting. I'm off to bed, provided Angel(below and right) will move over to his side. It's a hard life here in CB. See you tomorrow.
