A Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year






















Again, thanks for looking in over the past year. It's been a busy year here in Central Portugal - too much work on the house and trying to get something done in the garden and to the land. Thanks to all who have helped in so many different ways.

I think that we may now be 'settled' but there is still much to do. We are hoping for a bumper crop from the land next year so fingers crossed.

Rohini is working at Jini's English School in nearby Castelo Branco and I'm still working for the Open University. Jini has been to Singapore earlier this year to see family and to receive some alternative therapy. She returned refreshed but then caught the usual winter virus and suffered more than most. She is now back to 'normal' again.

We are expecting my sister-in-law Shanti from Singapore over the Christmas period and the plan is to spend Christmas day here in front of our log fire.
